Here is my clay pot. I wanted to make a bowl, I also wanted a kind of bigger one because I had a lot of clay to shape. The field trip I thought was so much fun. the glaze made my pot turn out really nice too.
My problem is I had to use a pen for a medium. This was difficult because I couldn't use erase. It took me awhile to get the clouds the way I want them its still not how i want them. But its good to me. It was a very difficult practice project.
This is my portrait proportions and facial features. I didnt get my facial features finished but got them glued down and started to draw them. I kinda wanted to go through the proportions first so I knew how to how to draw the features. I wanted to draw a female for the proportions.
For my Art show, I did it during a event that was going on in the gym at the time. so the school let me set it up in the hall in the entry way. So people going to the event could see my artwork and stop by in the way in. I got good responses from people about my artwork, they were all positive. Overall I think people enjoyed it.
For this journal page I drew a skull, but I wanted to do something more with it. So I put it like it was stabbed on a stake. I don't know why I kinda left that up to the viewer. I also made a heart carved into the stake, and made it snowing to make it more mysterious.
For this journal page I drew a chalice. I don't know where I got this idea just something i wanted to do. It took me awhile to do. The hardest part was blending it. Also it took me awhile to see where the shadow goes.
For this journal page I wanted to draw a heart. Then I thought it was empty, and i wanted it to say something else to I decided to put a arrow going through it. I liked how the end product turned out. I also made the arrowhead to be heart shaped, i thought that would be pretty ironic.
